Who looks after your data

Her Estrella Society, founded and run by Stella Mason in Alicante, Spain, is responsible for the personal information you share through this website. You can reach us at hello@herestrella.com or on +34 683 476 947.

What we collect

When you apply for membership, we collect the answers you give in the application: your name, email, mobile number, where you live, your work, your interests and anything you choose to tell us about yourself.

When you send a message, we collect your name, email, optional phone number and your message.

We do not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Our fonts and images are served from our own server.

Why we use it

To review your membership application and to contact you about it.

To reply to your messages.

If you become a member, to keep you informed about events, travel and community activities.

We use your data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the box on each form, and to take the steps you ask of us before you join.

Who can see it

Only Her Estrella Society. Your information is stored on our hosting provider’s servers and delivered to our email inbox; these providers process it on our behalf and may not use it for anything else. We never sell or share your data with anyone for marketing.

How long we keep it

Applications are kept while we review them and, if you join, for as long as you are a member. If an application does not go ahead, we delete it within 12 months. Messages are deleted within 12 months of our reply.

Saved answers on your device

While you fill in the application, your answers are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you do not lose them. They stay on your device and reach us only when you press “Submit application”. They are cleared when you submit, or when you choose “Start again”.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. Just write to hello@herestrella.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

WhatsApp and Instagram

If you contact us through WhatsApp or Instagram, those services are run by Meta and their own privacy policies apply.
